Sarah is a recent graduate from Touro College in Manhattan with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Sarah’s passion for working with children started in high school when she volunteered and later worked at a multidisciplinary early intervention clinic in Montreal, Quebec. Her skills grew during her clinical affiliation at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey where she was responsible for evaluating and treating children in the NICU, PICU and pediatric outpatient. During her time there, Sarah was fortunate enough to attend weekly torticollis and orthopedic clinics in which she was able to collaborate with plastic surgeons and orthopedic specialists. Sarah also gained experiencing during her time at United Cerebral Palsy where she treated children with a wide range of disabilities.
Sarah is a big believer in evidence based practice and always turns to the literature when creating and implementing a treatment plan. Sarah, along with a 3 classmates, has developed a qualitative case series that has been accepted for poster presentation at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
For Sarah, the most rewarding part of her job is watching her patients reach their goals and full potential. When she is not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, ice skating, skiing and watching hockey games!
