Lora Collison is a certified speech-language pathologist with knowledge and passion working with the pediatric population. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Augustana College in Communications, Sciences, and Disorders and a minor in Biology. Lora earned her Master of Science degree from Midwestern University in Speech-Language Pathology.
Lora has experience in several settings with a diverse population of children. During her time in graduate school she completed a fellowship with Children’s Hospital of Colorado where she worked with children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, conducting swallow studies and feeding therapy; she also worked part time in the outpatient center providing speech and language therapy. Lora has also participated in internships at schools, private clinics, and adult hospitals.
Throughout her experiences Lora has assessed and treated individuals who presented with Apraxia, Dysarthria, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation/phonological impairments, fluency disorders, and feeding deficits. She also has experience providing therapy to children exhibiting picky eating habits. Lora is an Early Intervention certified speech language pathologist with extensive experience working with the birth-three population.
