Julie Behm is a certified speech-language pathologist (CCC-SLP) with experience and passion for working with the pediatric population. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University with a double major in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Spanish. She earned her Master of Science degree from Western Illinois University in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Julie has worked with children in clinic and school settings where she evaluated and treated children with articulation and phonological impairments, receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency disorders, feeding disorders, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and behavioral problems. She also has experience working with adults at a hospital and skilled nursing facility, as well as providing voice therapy for a transgender client.
Julie is proficient in Spanish and is CPR certified. Additionally, she is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
