Ashley Meier, M.A., CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist and has also been trained in the Orton-Gillingham reading program. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Illinois in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana for her Masters degree. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist for pediatrics ages 2-14 in a clinic, elementary school, and middle school setting. After working in the school setting, she has become a firm believer that reading is a crucial foundation of a child’s education. Her reading instruction includes many different aspects of reading, with the goal of helping children to enjoy reading while becoming confident and proficient with their literacy skills.
