Gluten-Free Kids in Chicago
More and more children today are being born with food allergies and sensitivities to foods. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) working with kids in Chicago, I know many families struggling to feed their children gluten-free foods.
Growing up, I experienced symptoms similar to those of fibromyalgia including brain fog, GI concerns, muscle pain after eating, and fatigue. With 7 years of being gluten-free in the city (and feeling much better as a result), I have found the best places to eat at in the Chicagoland area!

Before visiting a restaurant above, be sure to call first to ensure gluten-free options are still available. For general questions about the gluten-free diet craze I recommend the article Making Sense of the Gluten Free Food Frenzy. Bon Appétit!
Before starting a new diet, I strongly encourage families to speak with their pediatrician or a Nutritionist specializing in gluten sensitivity or Celiac disease.
