About Breanne Carro
Breanne Carro is a speech-language pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication sciences and disorders from Augustana College in 2008. She received her Master of Science degree in communication disorders and sciences from Eastern Illinois University in 2010. Breanne has had experience volunteering at various Special Olympics events. During graduate school, she completed an internship at a school designed only for children with special needs. Before coming to NSPT, Breanne worked with children in Early Intervention as well as children with special needs at a therapuetic day school. Breanne has a lot of interest in Autism and enjoys working with children on the spectrum. She is certified in PECS (picture exchange communication system) and has had experience with various AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices. She is also trained in the Orton-Gillingham Reading Program. Breanne has a passion for helping children and ensuring that they achieve success in their everyday lives.
