About Andrea Levy
Andrea Levy, Speech-Language Pathologist, earned her Masters of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University. During graduate school, she provided treatment for children ranging from 1 to 14 years of age presenting with childhood apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, receptive-expressive language disorders, pragmatic disorders, and fluency disorders.
Andrea gained valuable experience at a medical externship at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Chicago where she provided treatment for children with cleft lip and cleft palate presenting with articulation and receptive-expressive language disorders. Prior to graduate school, she had numerous experiences working with children as a teacher’s assistant in a public school special education program and as a daycare substitute teacher.
Andrea completed a student externship at North Shore Pediatric Therapy in 2015 where she enjoyed working with the pediatric population and collaborating with other therapists. She was excited to return to North Shore Pediatric Therapy after graduation.
Andrea is a dedicated therapist that enjoys working with children and their families to find the approach that best supports the individual child.
