About Monica Zajaczkowski
Monica Zajaczkowski is a certified occupational therapist (OTR/L) who earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dominican University in Psychology and Spanish studies and her Master of Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University. She has a passion for helping children succeed and enjoys collaborating with parents to help them better understand how to support their child’s needs.
Monica completed her fieldwork at North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Chicago where she treated children who presented with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorders, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and developmental and learning disorders.
Monica has additional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in schools as well as both a behavioral therapist and a supported living assistant. Additionally, she has experience working with adults at Alexian Brothers Rehabilitation Hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Monica is fluent in Polish and proficient in Spanish, and she is certified in the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS). Monica ensures that her sessions are both enjoyable and therapeutic, so that her clients and families can grow and thrive.
